Building A Firewise Community
You are invited to learn more about what it takes to build a
successful Fire Safe Council by attending a special stakeholder
meeting on May 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.,
at the Soscol Professional Plaza Building (Ag Commissioner's
conference room), 1710 Soscol Ave., Napa. The agenda will include
presentations by Napa Firewise officials and Fire Safe Council
community representatives on issues critical to personal survival in
wildfire country. A free lunch will be provided. RSVP to

Wildland Urban
Interface Building Standards Workshop. Napa Firewise, in
conjunction with CAL-FIRE, is hosting a free training course on
important updates to the California Building Code: Chapter 7A.
The
course is designed for building officials, fire officials,
planners, building materials manufacturers, developers, architects
engineers and other building professionals. Location: UC Extension
Conference Room, 1710 Soscol Ave., Napa.Time: 9am to 1pm. Lunch
